In the last 20 years there has been an increasing focus on the concept and practice of youth work in Europe both at the level of the European Union and of the Council of Europe. A huge milestone in this debate was the 3rd European Youth Work Convention which took place during the simultaneous German Presidencies of the European Union and the Council of Europe at the end of 2020. The Convention was the starting point for the implementation of a European Youth Work Agenda through what is known as the Bonn process. Learn more about this in just half an hour!
The session will be in an easy understandable English, presented by two of the group that drafted the 3rd European Youth Work Convention’s Final Declaration ‘Signposts for the Future’.
Europäischer „Rückenwind“ - ein neuer Rahmen für Jugendarbeit in Europa
In den letzten 20 Jahren ist sowohl auf Ebene der Europäischen Union wie des Europarates das Thema Konzeption und Praxis von Jugendarbeit immer stärker in den Fokus gerückt. Ein bedeutender Meilenstein in diesem Kontext war der 3. Europäische Jugendarbeitskongress, der Ende 2020 im Rahmen der gleichzeitigen deutschen Präsidentschaft von EU und Europarat stattfand. Der Kongress war der Startpunkt für die Implementierung der Europäischen Jugendarbeitsagenda durch den sogenannten Bonn-Prozess. Erfahren sie mehr darüber in nur einer halben Stunde!
Der Vortrag wird in einfachem Englisch von 2 Mitglieder*innen der Redaktionsgruppe gehalten, die die Abschlusserklärung des 3. Europäischen Jugendarbeitskongresses unter dem Titel „Wegweiser für die Zukunft“ verfasst haben.
